We have two sessions for students’ enrollment in ODL Programme, i.e. June/ July (autumn session) and February/ March (spring session) as well as admissions declared as per UGC-DEB and AICTE Guidelines.

CDOE, Sambalpur University is offering three ODL Programmes

  • Bachelor in Business Administration
  • Master in Business Administration
  • Master in Commerce

10+2 Examination or equivalent from a recognized board

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.

CDOE, Sambalpur University is offering MBA in Financial Management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, IT, Production and Operation Management & Insurance and Risk Management.

For BBA Programme
Course fee: 5000 X 6 Semester = 30,000/-
Examination Fee: 500 X 6 Semester = 3,000/-
Total Fees = 33,000/-

For MBA Programme
Course fee: 15,000 X 4 Semester = 60,000/-
Examination Fee: 500 X 4 Semester = 2,000/-
Total Fees = 62,000/-

For M.Com. Programme
Course fee: 3000 X 4 Semester = 12,000/-
Examination Fee: 500 X 4 Semester = 2,000/-
Total Fees = 14,000/-

There is no application fee for any programme.

Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right. Selection for admission into BBA, MBA and M.Com Programmes shall be done on merit basis following the practice as in conventional mode.

Wherever applicable the relevant Government of India rules on reservation shall be adhered to.

Qualifying online learners enrolled in online degree programmes are eligible for educational loans.

Yes, as per new guidelines of UGC, anyone can apply for two different degrees of same/ different modes simultaneously; provided that, schedule should not be overlapped during Academics Years.

Examination center is CDOE, Sambalpur University.

No, there is no regional study center.

Students have to login with their given ID & password in CDOE portal and can download admit card before examination date.

Examinations are conducted only in the weekends, i.e. on Saturday & Sunday of each week.

Results of examination will be declared within 45 days from the end of last examination.

No, you can give back paper with junior batch while continuing your classes in the current semester.

By giving an examination fee of Rs. 1000/- per semester you can give any number of back paper and improvement examination.

Evaluation will be done on the basis of internal and end term examination. For internal, total mark is 20 and for semester 80 marks.

For passing one students have to score 33% marks in overall subjects

Asynchronous/Pre-recorded or synchronous (live) lectures, videos, Self-Learning Material (e-SLM) interactive discussion forums, and other methods used to depend as per requirements of the programme.

Yes, as per the UGC norms, 75% attendance is mandatory.

Yes. The students obtaining degrees under distance education are given the same level of recognition and value as offered by regular universities. In fact, no one can discriminate the students enrolled in distance learning and regular courses as per the notification issued by the UGC.

The Office of the Centre for Distance and Online Education shall issue Provisional Certificate to the successful candidates. Further, a candidate successfully completing the courses and passing the same will be awarded Degree in the prescribed format signed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University and the same will be sent to the candidate without any application and additional fees.
